Application closed
From: IOM Vanuatu

Labour mobility has led to significant positive impacts for ni-Vanuatu households, with participants using their earnings to meet both family and community needs. There is a strong need, however, for labour migrants and their families to receive robust preparation for their experience overseas, support to maintain healthy relationships and practice sound financial management, and assistance reintegrating into their communities and achieving their financial goals upon their return.

This will be achieved by providing labour migrants and their families with up-to-date information, referrals of services, evidence-based training, as well as targeted mentorship support.

To ensure a coordinated approach, IOM also seeks to better engage and create a collaborative network among community members/leaders and stakeholders involved in labour mobility. 7. Administer pre- and post-training assessments and data entry, participant feedback tools, and follow-up interviews as part of the programme’s monitoring and evaluation.
  8. Maintain organized records of participants, consent forms, training materials, and asset usage.
  9. Report regularly to IOM on workshop implementation, challenges, and success stories; contribute to newsletters or social media updates.
  10. Contribute to the collection of relevant information/data on labour mobility and social inclusion, for dissemination within IOM and externally.
