This is a hands-on role to manage the retail floor of the largest hardware & construction retailer in the northern islands of Vanuatu. 5. Assist in the development and implementation of the National CTIP Action Plan by supporting logistical and administrative tasks.
6. Provide support in organising capacity-building activities for frontline responders.
7. Assist in the development and dissemination of awareness-raising and advocacy tools
8. Support the project manager in planning, implementation and monitoring of activities relating to CTIP in Vanuatu.
9. Compile and summarise data on CTIP cases and trends for internal reporting
10. Assist in the development of victim assistance protocols and referral mechanisms.
11. Assist in the preparation of progress reports and donor submissions by gathering inputs and formatting documents.

Category A Consultants: Tasks to be performed under this contract.

1. Assist the CTIP/Protection Unit in implementing existing activities, and other cross-cutting project activities related to trafficking in persons.
2. Collect, analyse, and share relevant information/data related counter trafficking in persons, as well as suggest innovative ideas and activities for the projects.
3. Assist with activities related to workshops, trainings, meetings, events, and national and regional working groups.
4. Support with taking photos and videos of IOM programmes, including cataloguing and captioning content.
5. Prepare presentations, talking points and other outreach materials for the Protection Unit as needed.
6. Attend IOM team meetings and make suggestions for CTIP/Protection related initiatives.
7. Attend external meetings on behalf of the CTIP/Protection unit, if requested.

Labour mobility has led to significant positive impacts for ni-Vanuatu households, with participants using their earnings to meet both family and community needs. There is a strong need, however, for labour migrants and their families to receive robust preparation for their experience overseas, support to maintain healthy relationships and practice sound financial management, and assistance reintegrating into their communities and achieving their financial goals upon their return.

IOM LMI programmes aim to enable labour migrants and their families to maximize the positive impacts of their participation in international labour mobility, maintaining good health, strong, violence-free relationships, and financial stability during all stages of labour migration. This will be achieved by providing labour migrants and their families with up-to-date information, referrals of services, evidence-based training, as well as targeted mentorship support.

To ensure a coordinated approach, IOM also seeks to better engage and create a collaborative network among community members/leaders and stakeholders involved in labour mobility. IOM programmes are underpinned by a strong emphasis on monitoring and evaluation so that labour migrants can benefit from continuous programme improvement.

Tasks to be performed under this contract

1. Assist in the delivery of family-centred labour mobility workshops and awareness raising sessions, with guidance from the Provincial Coordinator, IOM and DOL, including preparing session plans, co-facilitating training sessions and supporting participant engagement.
2. Help in setting up and packing down workshop venues, distributing training materials, and managing attendance sheets.
3. Support the collection and data-entry/records of pre- and post-training assessments.
4. Assist the Provincial Coordinator in ensuring safeguarding and inclusivity principles are upheld throughout all workshops.
5. Maintain organized records of participant forms, consent documents, and training resources.
6. Participate in internal and external coordination meetings, take internal notes when needed, and contribute to reflection sessions on lessons learned.
7. Travel within Penama to support programme implementation as required.
8. Take part in IOM-led training and orientation sessions to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives and methods.
9. Provide general support to the Provincial Coordinator, including tasks related to logistics, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and communication, as assigned.
